For as many years as I have come to ANP I have hiked this path as my 1st hike of the summer. The loop from the parking lot is reliably an hour and oJers some of the best views of Long Pond and in the distance Blue Hill. Once at the Fire Tower you can look south and see the islands oJ the north and south legs of MDI. And as I leave the fire tower to make my way back down, I spot a tall mast of Rebecca right oJ the Causeway.
