The series of paintings are from my summer in Maine. Time hiking, swimming and connecting with friends and family. There was lots of fog which allowed me to explore a subtle palette. It's always fun to push the boundaries in that way. There was a moment when I became frustrated with the lack of sun for the images I wanted to capture, or a favorite hike was under construction...I am so happy I went with what was...!
