Evening Tooling Around 8” x 8” acrylic paint on Coffee bag sisal on birch panel

Tooling around in Opeechee one evening I was struck by the intense contrast of light in this little cove. The light of the setting sun was just hitting the rock and the landscape beyond was in shadow creating these glowing boulders jutting out of the water. The boulders reflections brightly lit in the green of the landscape reflected in the water.
