One day I overheard a couple friends mention Parkman Mountain. I hadn’t hiked Parkman in a while and thought, tomorrow, that’s the hike I’m going to do. I set out on the one hour + hike and had forgotten all the varied terrain. I loved revisiting the trails, they looked familiar, yet I was looking at the views with fresh eyes. There were even blueberries up toward the top. While I was picking blueberries, I heard a sweet child’s voice. It sounded familiar, and it was because it was my granddaughter hiking with her mom and my son. That encounter tipped the already amazing views of the hike over the top for me! What a gift, great views and family.
