Rock and Dock, Available through Cygnet Gallery, Southwest Harbor, 10" x 10" Gold Leaf & Oil on Wood Board

I have the privilege of staying with a friend in the summer who lives on Somes Sound. There is a dock right at the water line and the sun plays off the water and rocks there. The bold shapes of the granite and the water as it rises and lowers with the tide and leaves the rocks glistening. How to capture that glistening?
