Somes Sound 12” x 12”, layers of acrylic, oil paint on birch panel, framed

This iconic tree sits majestically on Somes Sound. Shaped by wind and weather. It has become sick and has lost limbs since I first saw in 2004, but holds its spot on the this body of water. It is still a marker for boaters, bikers and drivers along Sargeant Drive.
