Trees of Somes Sound, 14" x 14" Framed, Acrylic on canvas.

These trees are on a fjord called Somes Sound on Mount Desert Island. These trees are exposed to the elements of wind, snow, salt and sun. The forces of nature in turn help create the mosaic of window shapes within the branches that allow me to look through and include the landscape within those windows.
